Are Soma products completely Ayurvedic?
Soma products are formulated according to Ayurvedic beliefs and understandings. They are primarily made of plants, animal extracts and minerals.
Are Soma products certified?
Soma is certified by ISO 9001:2015 and International Certification and Inspection UK Ltd.
Are Soma products free from preservatives?
Yes. They are completely free from synthetic preservatives and fragrances, parabens, sulfates and harsh chemicals.
How are oils different from creams?
Oils penetrate deeper into the skin tissue than creams and hence are more moisturizing.
What is a good skincare routine?
Natural skincare routine consists of gentle cleansing, toning, moisturizing and occasionally exfoliating.
Will oils cause skin breakouts?
Not if you are using the right kind for your skin type. Soma’s Sevantika is specially formulated to suit most skin types.
Are Soma products safe for children and expecting mothers?
Our products are generally recommended for adults. Expecting and lactating mothers are advised to consult their doctor before using our products. Our safety recommendation complies with Indian regulations regarding product usage in India. The safety instructions can be referred on the labelling and outer box of the product.
Do SOMA products contain synthetic or natural oils?
SOMA products contain only natural and essential oils. You may refer to our website and outer box / label for complete product detail.
Can I replace my face moisturizer with SOMA face oil?
Yes. Since oils penetrate deeper into skin tissue than creams resulting in more moisturization.
Are Soma oils sun friendly?
Soma oils do not contain any UVA or UVB protectors. However Calendula in Sevantika Face Oil is known to have natural SPF properties.
Are SOMA products suitable for all skin types?
Soma’s Tridosha collection has been formulated to suit most skin types. However, a patch test is recommended before use of any product.

How to use SOMA
How is SOMA hair oil to be applied?
Soma hair oil needs to be directly applied onto the scalp and massaged gently for 5 – 7 minutes. Hair can be rinsed after an hour of oil application. Make sure that the product is suitable for you and conduct a patch testing before use. Immediately stop using the product if it causes irritation / rashes or any other problem, and consult a dermatologist immediately.
How does one use Sodashi face pack?
Take a dry spoonful of Sodashi, mix it with water, rose water or milk and apply evenly all over the face and neck. Wash on drying. Use every day or thrice a week for best results. Make sure that the product is suitable for you and conduct a patch testing before use. Immediately stop using the product if it causes irritation / rashes or any other problem, and consult a dermatologist immediately.
Can Sodashi be used every day?

What is body ubtan? Can I use Kaushika every day?
Ubtan is a paste made of natural ingredients and ayurvedic herbs that serve as a cleansing agent. Kaushika has mild exfoliating components and can be used every day for good results. Make sure that the product is suitable for you and conduct a patch testing before use. Immediately stop using the product if it causes irritation / rashes or any other problem, and consult a dermatologist immediately.
Is Avaleha lip balm safe to use throughout the day?
Yes. It can be used throughout the day as it has moisturizing agents and is free from preservatives, colors, synthetic fragrances and chemicals. Avaleha lip balm can also be used as a moisturizer on the dry parts of face and body. Make sure that the product is suitable for you and conduct a patch testing before use. Immediately stop using the product if it causes irritation / rashes or any other problem, and consult a dermatologist immediately.
How long will it take to see results?
Natural skincare unlike modern skincare products, do not contain strong chemicals. They contain natural chemicals in small proportions and with daily use, one will see results over time.

Shipping
How long will it take to receive my order once placed?
Once the order is placed, processing might take up to 48 hours and standard shipping can take 3 to 15 days.
How do I cancel or modify a placed order?
You can cancel an order within 1 hour of placing it and this can be done through your account with us on the website. An order will be non-cancellable beyond this period or post-dispatch. Modification to an existing order is not an option. You may cancel the order within an hour and place a new order of your choice.
Is shipping free?
Standard shipping will be free for orders exceeding INR 1000/- in a single transaction.
What if I receive damaged goods?
Customers qualify for a refund or exchange solely in the event of product damage during transit. However, we do not accept returns or issue refunds for non-damaged cosmetic products, primarily due to hygiene concerns. In case you receive a damaged item, photographic / videographic evidence will need to be provided within 24 hours of product receipt via email (hello@mysoma.in)
What if it takes too long to receive my order?
Once the order is placed, processing might take up to 48 hours and standard shipping can take 3 to 15 days. In the event that the product does not reach you in 17 business days under normal circumstances, a full refund will be provided. In case of delay beyond our control like natural calamities or government restrictions, we will keep you informed about the details.

How will any SOMA discount coupon code or promotional code be applied to my order?
Any kind of discounts or promotional codes will be applied to your cart value. Shipping charges will be calculated over and above the cart value.
